YCSSW Policy: Institute shall promote national integrity by celebrating cultural diversity
Objectives
- Have a Cultural Committee comprising Student Council members and faculty and headed by the Principal.
- Conduct Annual Cultural Event (Umang) on campus for students.
- Promote indigenous cultural heritage by conducting interclass cultural competition.
Cultural activities are held as per the academic calendar. YCSSW celebrates various festivals and events. The following events are organized by the college:
- Welcome of new students
- Fresher’s welcome
- Three-days orientation programme for new students
- "Umang" – Student Youth Festival
- Onam celebration
- Teacher’s Day
- Sports Day
- Observing birth and death anniversaries
- Hostel Day
- Farewell Day
- Republic Day
- Independence Day
