After successful completion of the BSW-I, students will develop the ability to:

  • Understand social problems and importance of social work intervention
  • Understand and develop the basic skills required for social work practice

Bachelor of Social Work-II: Course Outcome
After successful completion of the BSW-II, students will develop the ability to:
  • Understand the Primary methods of social work
  • Practice social work under the supervision of professionals
  • Understand the functioning of different NGOS/GOs
  • Understand legal procedure and can work as paralegal volunteers

  • Understand the concept of rescue, relief and rehabilitation in disaster management

After successful completion of the BSW-III, students will develop the ability to:
  • Take up mini research project / Society Empowerment Project
  • Understand the concept of Social Welfare Administration
  • Prepare Memorandum of Association/Bye Law of NGO
  • Prepare Annual Report of NGO

  • Understand Case Management, Home Visit and Follow up.

Master of Social Work-II: Urban and Rural Community Development Outcome
After successful completion of the MSW-II (URCD), students will develop the ability to
  • Deal appropriately with the urban, rural and tribal groups and develop comprehensive understanding of management of natural resources at state and global level.
  • Distinguish between professional and personal self.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Human rights and social justice issues through dalit, women and tribal perspective.
